We offer real and permanent good to everyday people

Good Health and Good Living™ are all about enjoying the taste of healthy eating – it doesn’t have to mean sacrificing on flavor. Try these simple tweaks to classic “diet foods” to make them not only nutritious, but also delicious!

  1. Yogurt
Flavored yogurts are often high in sugar, but plain yogurt can be a little boring. Try adding a handful of fresh berries or some sliced up banana for some natural sweetness. Added bonus: plain yogurt can also be a healthy substitute for sour cream.
  2. Salad
Jazz up your salad with healthy toppings – hardboiled egg, edamame, artichoke hearts, beets, orange wedges, pomegranate seeds; the possibilities are endless! Instead of croutons, add some crunch to your salad with walnuts halves or slivered almonds for a heart-healthy benefit.
  3. Chicken breast
Chicken doesn’t have to be bland to be healthy. Herbs can go a long way in dressing up even the simplest dish. Rosemary, sage, and thyme pair especially well with baked chicken breasts, and they’re available in the grocery stores year round.
  4. Oatmeal
Instead of scrimping on taste, add some healthy toppings to your oatmeal! A small handful of mixed nuts not only adds flavor, it also adds protein and healthy fat to make for a well-rounded, balanced breakfast. For a little sweetness, try adding some dried fruit.
  5. Spinach
Looking to increase your vegetable intake but not a big fan of steamed greens? Add a couple handfuls of spinach to your morning smoothie. Spinach is tender and slightly sweet, making it an easy ingredient to mix in. The color isn’t the most appealing, but we promise the taste makes up for i

Double Dutch is a game in which two long jump ropes turning in opposite directions are jumped by one or more players jumping simultaneously. In America, double Dutch began in the cities. It is popular worldwide. Competitions in double Dutch range from block parties to the world level. During the spring of 2009, double Dutch became a varsity sport in New York City public high schools. It has been fancifully debated whether double Dutch came over with the first Dutch settlers or appeared in the first half of the 1900s, but this "debate" ignores the common English usage of the slang term "Dutch" to mean "tricky" or "confusing

Competitive Double Dutch

The National Double Dutch League holds yearly camps and a Holiday Classic, in which teams from all over the world compete. Double Dutch is also an integral part of USA Jump Rope Tournaments as well as AAU and the Junior Olympic Games.

The World Jump Rope Championships were held in July, 2012, at George Washington University, in Washington D.C.

Double Dutch competitions are categorized as compulsory, freestyle, and speed rope.
